competitiveness

I think that we are all competitive but some take it to extremes. I used to compete for good grades in my work against my housemate but would still want her to do well.
I think the most competitive thing I've done is helped a singing group compete against other musical groups and do well.
I would rather help backstage, but would enter a talent show or reality game show as it offers a break from the norm and is something different.
My younger sisters try to be better than me, but we're all equals just with different lives.
Parents only want the best for their children so are seen to be competitive.
I can see competitiveness embedded in society from the work place to the individual. Everyone wants to do well and it seems that they will do everything in their power to do well for themselves.
I won the Mr Blobby dance at a child's party.
