I've got this far.
The theory is that I'll develop my rowing skills very fast by sheer necessity, to stop myself floating out to sea...

Yes, well, I currently get outshined by my girlfriend whenever we row anywhere 'cos she grew up near the Finnish archipelago.
If I'm going to do anything when we hire out a punt in Stratford next February other than just row round in circles then I need to practise!
