No, I meant at what level, A? Good luck. I have pure maths first thing tomorrow.

Ming Mang Posted Jan 9, 2002
AS-level. I have pure 1 math first thing tomorrow - are you doing P1 as well? And good luck!

Yeah, i resat P1 thursday morning. I'm quietly confident! All the things I revised came up, so I was pleased. How did you do? What's you're examining board?

Ming Mang Posted Jan 11, 2002
Lucky you, I'm worried because it went well and no one else said it did except our resident almost-genius. Glad you're happy about it though. Our board is OCR. Who's yours?

I could say the same, but I am our resident almost genius.
Edexcel. It won't have been the same paper in that case. There was one about the perimeter of a garden, which was easy, but we all wondered why the gardener couldn't have just measured it...

If you're the resident almost-genius, why are you retaking? And perimeters? Ooh, now I'm jealous... And gardeners can't measure things like that! They have to have taken Maths A-level to be able to!

What? I said almost! I'm not drawing comparison, but both Einstein and Edison failed maths at scholl, so it doesn't preclude it!
Ah, They should make maths A-level a rwequirement for gardeners!

Ming Mang Posted Jan 17, 2002
I said almost too. And it's not only Einstein and Edison who've failed maths you know.
Oh, they should! Hah, that would be funny!

Ah, but if you're a gardener who has passed A-level maths then suddenly you'll be very popular and be able to charge a lot of money!

I suppose so. I guessed they'd have to introduce mesurements like "begonias per square metre".
