Well thank you, but I can be as non-sensical as the best of them, if I so wish.

I believe that LW doesn't understand what this thread is really about, and reading the title he decided to list parts of a trasporter. I've tried to tell him before that titles don't mean anything, but did he listen. smiley - sadface

He does a lot of this- I'm worried about him. He makes too many threads, and adds to them himself too much.

I think that he's largely responsible for the new forums announced today. smiley - winkeyeF77636?thread=656367

He does seem to like games.

It's unfair. Hes been here about a month and he affects the site profoundly. I've been here a year and a half, and the italics don't even recognise me. smiley - cry

Doubt they even know who I am. Why can some people have that sort of influence just by showing up?

I don't know. smiley - cry

Here's a hint- Do what he does, start a whole load of useless threads and post on them constantly, and act as if you have no idea how annoying you're being. Thus, people can't move for seeing your name on the top of posts, and your name becomed engrained into their minds, until the mere mention of "Star Trek" sends you reeling into an insane rampage about useless threads. Problem solved.

Overdose you mean. He does seem to have posted a heck of a lot on there.

*Checks and sees that LW has unsubbed from this convo.*

No wonder he hasn't responded. smiley - erm

He doesn't seem to understand the site dynamic, and he doesn't seem to like the idea of leaving threads to die. I thought that after a while he'd get used to hootoos style, but he just hasn't.

Well I signed up to the Star Trek message boards yesterday (under an imaginative name smiley - winkeye) because I wanted to ask a question about what happened to the people who died in Caretaker.

Today they have a problem with a spammer spamming their boards and someone asked if it was "Wolfie". So I asked the obvious question. Read the response here: http://boards.startrek.com/community/messages.html?s=95b257bf2955769ee45a2350a45307bc;act=ST;f=7;t=33213098;st=60

Interesting. Definately sounds like overload all over the place.

I'm trying to find out as much about his time there as I can. I don't want to judge him until I know more about him. smiley - erm

He pointed out to me another Star trek place with all the discussions, so I went and had a look. But he does seem to post everywhere. I posted to some of the threads he'd posted to and he was like "go post on these other threads too".

I think I stopped his spamming about that TrekGuide site yesterday when I warned him that if he does it again I'd report him (it says so in the <./>HouseRules</.&gtsmiley - winkeye. But judging by what I'm reading on the ST message boards . . . smiley - erm

Juast thought I'd say thanks to you for pointing all this stuff out. I'd started to get a bit freaked with all the threads and posts and stuff.

Anyway, back on topic, in TNGs "Message in a Bottle", when Geordie frezzes the holo-program, the clock continues to move.

Nuge's advice:

Really? Have to watch out for that.

One thing I didn't get about the holodeck was the very first episode "Encounter At Farpoint" when Wesley's fallen in the holographic stream and then walks out of the holodeck still dripping. Would the water not have stayed in the holodeck?
