I just watched the final episode of DS9 on DVD (I've been working my way through now for 7 months). I have to say, the first time I saw that episode, I hated it. But the more I see it the better it becomes.

I liked DS9, but I think the ending, with Sisco and Dukat was a bit feeble, stereo good guy/bad guy all live happily everafter senario

Well I do think that they could have wrote that Sisko/Dukat bit better. It seems a little odd the way it was written as a sub story. But it wasn't really a happy ever after type episode. In fact, most of them were depressed at the end.

have you seen preveiw of Enterprise, it looks like we are going to have 'normal' alien baddies this week??

No, I haven't. What sort of baddies?

they look more humanoid, without all the face ridges etc and there were 2 firing phasers at Archer and co, can't work out from clip whether they are long term baddies or just a couple of episodes

I thought this weeks episode was just about Enterprise retunring home. Why ruin it by bringing in an enemy?

most definitely and I'd want counciling, like on Picard & co, I bet the ship is all repaired and on stand by to leave earth orbit

Interesting, as after two holes were blown in the ship in that Romulan minefield, Trip said it would take them two months to repair if they were back at Earth. But now they'll repair damage 10 times worse in only a week.
