After several days spent testing the device, it seems that tea cups are rather lacking when it comes to being fired from a catapult.
The just spills out, randomly splashing people along its trajectory.

I have an idea!!
*Gets a plastic top for cups, and a timed device*
I think that you time the device to shoot the tea 3 seconds after launch!!
That way, the tea cup will hit with more impact!
