I'm surprised that no-one has commented in this fine work before now; I'm not a big fan of poetry, but this one touched me.

Why, thank you, Peet.
There are actually some other kind comments here, but they are currently among "The Disappeared", awaiting moderation - you are not alone in your good taste
this is so great

I have been trying very hard to find a copy of the Hithchhiker's Guide to the Galalxy radio drama ever since my tape player chewed up the tapes. I'm getting ever so closer to the holy grail. Attempts to buy the show in stores proved futile when I was told it was no longer in print. ebay seemed a beacon in the bay, for only $50.00 I could recieve eternal bliss. however, drawing nearer to auction day, the price soared to more than double it's original bid. Your poem, is terrific and sums up my view of the old show. do you have any idea i can get it back fo an affordable price?

Just four clicks away, luggage!
Click the "BBC Online" logo top right.
Then "BBC Shop" (quite far down on the LHS)
Then "Science Fiction"
Then "Hitchhikers etc"
- of course I can't post the URL, but them's the rules!
The coverage seems a little odd and patchy - it looks like you can only buy series one (Fits 1-6) and Fits 7-8 on cassette, and only the second series (7-12) on CD, but one way or another it could be yours...
(checks something)
...if, of course, you lived in Europe. Presumably for copyright reasons, this site won't sell anywhere else - and their US shop [URL removed by moderator]doesn't sell the series, just the TV series and a "making of". If you know anyone you trust in Europe, send it to them and get it posted on.
I hope that's helpful

Perfect plan! except I live in the US. I suppose I could always give Eric Idle a call, or drop Terry Pratchett a line, but I don't think it will work because they don't know me.
