Actually, I've been lurking around a lot, and I think I sort of get the hang of it. Maybe. Or maybe not. We'll have to see.

Well, lurking around is probably the only way to get to know this place Participate in any discussions you feel like, read and comment on other peoples entries and, if you feel like it, have a go at writing your own entries. I think that's the only way to do it, the more open you are, the faster will you find yourself involved in all kinds of things.

Actually I'm sort of working on an entry now.
Are you the right person to answer this question:
When I'm not yet ready to post it, but am in the drafting stage, can I write it here in my Guide Entry bit, or do I have to do it somewhere else and then post it?
Got my in now, everything is a lot more clear!!

Just start writing, and don't worry about the rest.
