Chaiwallah Visiting Sho
chaiwallah Posted Feb 23, 2004
Hi Sho,
I haven't been online for a couple of days, as I've been over in London ( still am ) on a double mission, to see my lovely grand-daughter again ( she's just been having a bath ) and to see an exhibition of "contemporary crafts and applied arts" at the V & A. So I just got up to my son's flat this evening, and am having some time on his computer while Leah is feeding, ( having just made a pot of chai for the household.) Back home tomorrow and a hectic couple of days with Tibetans who are in Dublin while the EU-China Human Rights "dialogue" takes place.
Hope all is well with you and the darling girls. (RL, what's that? Is any L more "Real" than any other? Seriously, communication and the sharing of concerns is about as good as we humans get, don't you think? OK, it'd be a bit sad if everyone spent all of their time in front of a console instead of getting on with the serious business of eating, drinking, socialising, and reproducing, but this h2g2 network seems, mostly, to throw up really interesting and supportive people.)
Enough for now, I'll be in touch once I get home. Don't forget, if you can organise it, to email me pics of your gorgeous girls.
Cheers,
Chaiwallah

Sho - employed again! Posted Feb 23, 2004
I took some photos this weekend, hopefully my pea brain will remember to attach them when I mail you
and yes, you're right - life would be silly if all we did was sit here communicating via keyboard and wire/fibreoptics.
Enjoy the rest of your visit - the smell of a newly bathed newly fed baby is, IMO, the absolutely best smell ever. *sigh* I almost got broody then!
Good luck in Dublin and the Tibetans. I'll be thinking of you all, and my evening candle will be for them.

Hi Sho,
I haven't been around hootoo much lately, partly because the computer died again, now reincarnated as Windows XP. Been over to London in early May to see four-month old Leah. Do send me your email address again , here's mine - antodob(at)oceanfree(dot)net - if you find time. Been writing any more slash?
Cheers,
Chaiwallah

I was thinking of you yesterday while drinking a rather bad cuppa chai.
How's things? I haven't seen you around much lately, but then I'm not either.
Still writing, but more into the original stuff - although I have had the hankering to write some slash. Even slash involving the new Stargate Atlantis characters. I think I'll leave the elves alone now.

Hi Sho,
Nice to hear from you. No, I haven't been spending much time on hootoo lately, too busy sorting out my life, divorce etc. Have been writing quite a bit, mainly poetry ( not the Ballad of Grimley Moer ), and occasional limericks on the Limerick thread. Fairly busy with pottery too. I still haven't done any porn-derived paintings ( should we call them "splash"???) though I have been commissioned to make some more erotic plates.
Keep in touch, and tell us when you have new drolleries to read.
Cheers,
Chai.
