A Conversation for Tinnitus and labrynthitis

Hard of hearing Tinnitis and Labrynthitis

I sympathise with you. Recently I also have been playing music through headphones very loud - too loud and I am now slightly deaf!some words are unclear also. I often miss words that people are saying - I put this down to lack of concentration mainly. How unfortunate for you. However I know of someone a long time ago who had the same problem she was a nurse and it nearly drove her mad too. You may like to try and play different sounds to yourself to see if this alleviates the problem somewhat.

I have the same sort of thing ringing in my ears but i can't complain as its my own fault. I always have music playing apart from sleeping when i'm normally tired enough not to notice it!smiley - biggrin

my tinnitus seems to be worse at moment...loud music and headphones in past certainly added to it, age is adding to it now.

Sorry to hear that, I didn't realise that it got worse as you go older.

One of my friends has got it as he had hearing problems as a small kid. I just wish that there was a way that they could fix it.smiley - smiley
