Deftones are cool too. Vocals could be a little rougher tho. Like at the start of 'change' he sounds like marilyn and you think, whoah htis guys can prob scream good, but he never does. Kind of a let down.

Yeah theyre cool. They take old school metal influences from thrash and grindcore and combine them with heavy alterative metal. Dont scream v much tho.

So you`re saying it`s all about image and not the music?

I bet its the way he stares isnt it?

Detective Armani Posted Jun 1, 2002
It`s that and the way he pulls those faces. Especially when he`s being interviewed. There`s a touch of the serial killer look about him.

No of course not. Music is everything. But can you tell me about a real metal band that wants to seem parentally friendly?
moshing
Detective Armani Posted Jun 1, 2002
Nobody really wants that but they don`t want the other extreme either. They don`t want parents to think that their kids are playing the music backwards listening for hidden messages either. The whole point of Judas Priest winning their court case was to prove that just because they had a certain image, didn`t mean that there music was evil.
I think most bands now just want to be accepted for their music. They dress and act the way they do because that is how they are most comfortable.

Music is about enjoyment, it doesn't matter whether they look like a wet Spaniel or ___________ (insert name of musician you find most attractive) it's whether or not you like the music.
But you should accept that not everyone has the same taste...my question to people who say they don't like my taste of music is usually "Do you like the Beatles? The Clash? Jimi Hendrix? REM?..." and if they like at least one, then cool, they can't say I've got crap taste in music anymore because they like some of the same.
Anyone heard of Four Star Mary? Or Nerf Herder?

Personally, i don`t like pop, but people should have the right to choose.

Yup, but "Wetflies" must die! Little teeny squeaky Irish Boybands...there are just too many!
