you're right i don't know Jack about being a mosher...as i'm not one sure i like some of the music but im an individual and not a lemming like most of them (yes lemming is the right word...you dress alike you act alike and you like the same bands and frankly in the case of following trends of the mosher bands you're just as bad as the bloody trendies!)...my friend who asked me to write the guide entry about "being a mosher" think's she's a mosher because she's into slipknot...she hasn't got a clue frankly i was just humouring her because she was my mate and that's what mates do...i also if you'd noticed written it about two years ago so it's bound to be a load of crap because i was 14 going on 15 when i wrote it.

Don't partionise me and don't tell me what to write, you're impression of a mosher may be far different from mine because my experience of them is all my friend who are the nicest bunch of people i've ever met, sure they listen to crap which is just swearing and shouting and couldn't hold a tune if they knew what a tune was but they are the sweetest and nicest people i've met in a long time.

No either you can go shove your opinion where the sun don't shine or you can try and be nice and if you really wanted give me some hints on how to describe moshers properly.

We've got off on the wrong foot now and i really don't like to rant on this thing but frankly it's not fair to critisise people and then not advise them on how to make things better.

Em

It okay hun, i've been meaning to do something about it for months and just haven't got around to it, the worst thing is i know it's a load of b*****ks, i should just delete it and keep going with my Shakespeare entry and start my Bridgte Jones one while i'm at it...

it's really mean i write things and people keep ripping into me about them, well just this on and my one on Smacking and child abuse which fair enough it contravtial but i'm jst expressing an opinion...not that i'm online enough to hear what people think.

yeah i was wonderng about that. I knew that it would take someone w/ a few bricks less of a load to genuinely write an entry about how to conform to the laws of individuality and really mean it.

liek i said i let my friend put it on the site because she was my friend, i wouldn't have minded the post but after it being up for nearly two years with no one even remotly interested in it having three posts in quick succession telling you it's a load of BS isn't very hopeful.

I don't agree with half of what she wrote and i editted out some things because of the House Rules and because they were very offensive but i never intended to ruin anyone's idea of what a mosher is or isn't.

I'm not a mosher and I'm not a trendie...I'm me and all people need to know about the others is i'm not willing to conform.

I am not a number.

I am a person in my own right!

Sorry to jump on the bandwagon but it isn`t exactly a good article. I know it was written by your friend but he/she obviously knows nothing about it. Still, if that`s their perception i guess it`s fair enough. It would be a very boring world if we all had the same views and opinionssmiley - biggrin

Thank you...but as of very soon the article will be no more, I'm sick of the aggro I'm getting because of it...my friend will just have to start her own page and write it herself.

Sometimes it's better to bow out and disappoint one person than sticking to your guns and making yourself unhappy. smiley - smiley

Nope because we don't have Sky since ITVDigital went bust.

I don't even like the seriously heavy stuff (Slipknot, Korn, Metallica...) I just like stuff with a good bit of guitar and doesn't depress me completely.

Metallica were great before they started all that S & M stuff. The black album is of course a classic! They are ace live too.

I like most music but i seem to like bands people haven't really heard of...such as Nerf Herder, Four Star Mary, Guided by Voices and loads of other band...i like loud like Nirvana but i still like relatively girly stuff like Aimee Mann, Sheryl Crow, Fiona Apple...and old stuff like the Beatles and other things...

I finally got the Live in New York album by Nirvana at the weekend which i've been looking for for ages...it's slightly quieter than i'm used to with them...

And Metallica? Okay i don't mind them so much but things like Slipknot and crappy nu-metal bands like Linkin Park are just s**t! Just reusing stuff...like Song2 by Blur (who i like)is a rip of Smells Like teen Spirit! No BS it totally is!

Well personally, i see nu-metal as a good thing. It`s great to see young kids getting into some half decent music instead of this pop idol rubbish. I realise that with most it will just be a phase but others may end up working their way back to the bands we all know and love. That can only be a good thing.

Okay so kids are getting into things that are other than "Wetflies" but still i'd prefer Linkin Park and the like if they didn't insist on mixing Rock, Punk, Rap and sysnth together, MAKE UP YOUR MINDS! Are you pop or rock???!!!
