I have yikesed it as I doubt very very much that this is original. Perhaps you have misunderstood what entries are about so read the <./>writing-guidelines</.> and it will explain it 
When copying text - things like "Left, a drawing from 1809 by Sir George Cayley," when there is no picture to the left, is an indication that this is not original work Dan.
If the site you lifted this from is indeed yours then you can re-instate the entry on proof of ownership.

Hi Mort 
I've been lurking around Peer Review last few weeks, looking n learning. (saying very little) Still learning, not sure if I misunderstood something. 
Isn't it the case, that even if that was Dan's website he would have to re-write the entry so it wasn't the same on the website, as advised on 'Japanese Toilets'?

Yes it's a strange system. If you've submit an article somewhere else on the web, h2g2 doesn't want you to submit exactly the same article to h2g2, even though you own it.
But if you submit it to h2g2 first, there's nothing to stop you later submiting the exact same article to another place on the web, because you own the copyright.
