Can I ask why were you hoping that? Is your life so ulimately fulfilled that any form of prediction has hope behind it?

Like an oil tanker coming from Saudi!

But I wouldn't be able to have this conversation if that were the case. Underseas cables were severed, depriving Saudi Arabia and other parts of the Middle East from getting Internet connections. . 85 milion people without Internet.
But maybe you meant olive oil, and Saudi Heights in Hackensack.

Whatever I meant, I'm sure it was irrefutable and a downright brilliant metaphor.

It was quite brilliant!
With metaphors like that, you will soon earn a fortune and be able to retire to someplace great.

'Screw the rules I have money!' or should it be in this case 'Screw the money I have rules!', either way I have one thing and the other thing is being screwed into something else.

No, it would only be funny if the people inserting the lightbulb happened to be of the same profession/ideology. Eg, I mean how many people does it take to change a lightbulb?
Three,
One man to change the lightbulb,
One man to hold the ladder, and
One woman to complain that they're doing it wrong.
Just not as funny.
(PS. It just happens to be a coincidence that the 'joke' has the same demographics as thread)

So, it would be funnier if it went like this? :
How many Amish does it take to change a lightbulb?
I'm going to let the two other posters concoct an answer.

err... no-one knows because they die from TB before reaching the lightbulb.
Between two to five because they keep on losing their souls to the heathen light.

I think thats why they've done away with lightbulbs altogether.

I'm sure it's all right for them to *have* lightbulbs.
They just don't use them. So, it would take zero Amish to change a lightbulb, because the never wears out, due to its not getting any use.

That's just ill thought out pedanticism.
It's not alright for them to have lightbulbs, they would have to leave the community to get one. In the case that they did have one it would be pointless given that it could'nt be used. It would be a pointless waste of resources buying one.
They would just sit in a hidden drawer somewhere being pilled up on by porn mags and sex toys... I'd imagine.
Key: Complain about this post
