Sorry, h5ringer, that's not meant as a pressure, but any chosen venue will have to provide a wheelchair, as well as being central, and from what I found, it didn't look good for wheelchairs for any other venue that would be of interest.

I'll be there for the evening in any case, and if we're lucky, for the afternoon, too. I hope to meet you again - either earlier, or later that day.

Maybe someone will explain the Museum's layout and let me see other rooms apart from the Egyptian Room which is, so far, the only part I've seen! Help is definitely needed!!!
Rumour has it there is even a courtyard!!!

Well, I hope you assist me in finding it... As all I've ever found is my Mummy, which is why I haven''t been for at least 15 years... And I pride my self on Scouting Orienteering skills!!!

Roman Britain always hides when I'm at British Museum, and so does the Gayer-Anderson Cat.
On the other hand the museum shops are well stocked, and sell huge bags if you run out of place in your own...
could be better though.

Is anyone available on the Saturday morning, I'm planning to go to the Natural History Museum http://www.nhm.ac.uk/visit-us/whats-on/temporary-exhibitions/amazing-butterflies/index.html?src=enews for the exhibition; it opens at 10am. If anyone wants to join me please post on my PS F41297?thread=5275696 as I don't want to hijack this thread.

MMF, can you please update the page to say where we're going? Have we decided what time?
I'd like to check in at my hotel, which I can't do until 2, so it is unlikely I could be at the museum before 3. But if others want to go there earlier, I'll find you at 3. (Although I remember you are not allowed use mobile phones within the museum, so I might just have to wander around looking for people I recognise)
