I guess that I'm at a disadvantage then. I have devoured most anything I could find with DNA's hand in it. [Errrgh, nauseating mental picture!]
First of all, I inadvertently referred to all readers when I meant 75% of researchers; but that, too, could be off by a wide margin. Everyone is right to point out that many, if not most, readers are vistors first whether or not they become interested in DNA (although I should think as researchers, spreading the word is part of the job description).
Second, my sense of humour may be more in line with Douglas's and John's than most because I laughed at most every entry without any idea what the other leveraged locations might have meant. I'm thinking particularly about reading of buldoo, clonmult, and sadberge.

I think I may be able to rescue this one.
Stay tuned.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
