How strange - just found this in my list of entries so thought I'd put it in and see what happened!
I don't think anyone else has written anything like this in the last few years.

Good sound advice!
I think the other thing you can do is smile. It helps to inject a sense of community into your fellow travellers. If you realise you're all in the same boat (or in this case, train), then you'll be more likely to help each other and blame the train operator for the situation you're in.

I'll add that in when I format this properly. I wanted to see how well it goes down first.
Actually I read this properly after I'd submitted it, and realised there was a bit of Tube Rage in it. Can't remember what that was all about now!

Gnomon - time to move on Posted Oct 5, 2007
I think this is excellent advice.
There's one bit about a passenger's bag hitting you on the knee which should be reworded. As it stands, it really sounds like something which happened to you and made you cross. Make it calmer and more dispassionate.
I know I'm not supposed to offer advice on spelling mistakes at this early stage in PR, so I'll stick to one comment about formatting. This would really benefit from being put into a bullet point list. It wouldn't take you more than about 2 minutes to do it, and it would make it far easier for people to read and review.

You can offer me advice about spelling as soon as you like! I've reformatted it (it was in plain text!), changed one typo that I spotted, removed the bit about the woman and her bag completely and tidied up the title.

Actually I can only see one spelling error:
inoportune --> inopportune
This sounds like a command:
don't want to get off
It would be clearer as:
and don't want to get off

Just wondering if you've seen this anywhere: http://london-underground.blogspot.com/2003_03_01_london-underground_archive.html
Scroll down a little (about an inch )to Monday, March 17, 2003:
"Will certainly be making use of my worn copy of The Way Out Tube Map. To those of you who've not come across this brilliant map I would say get one straight away. Basically it is a whole map of the tube but it tells you which carriage to sit in if you want to be nearest to the exit of the station you get off at."
A couple of typos:
5th dot 3rd line: [there will be more room there]
5th dot last line: [good natured]

This does seem more like supplemental information to the larger body of work that you edited. Why not submit this instead as update suggestions for A688232 and let Gnomon or someone incorporate them?

Heh, hadn't even noticed that's one I subbed in my very early days!
I'll stick it through as an update, that way I can go through checking links and things as well.
Sorry for the false alarm!
