Hi Smudger ,
I enjoyed reading your article and also found it very touching .
As you already know, I lost my job about 3 years ago due to illness and find it very difficult to pick myself up some days and carry on .
I have had 2 relationship breakdowns and find it very difficult to get on with life, its something which at the time, have a feeling that you are drifting away from that person and deep down know that it is just a matter of time before you split up, which often is not very easy.
That is about 3 years ago at the time of also losing my job and although it is in the past, I find it very painful to talk about even now and are on a cocktail of anti-depressants and sedatives to keep me sane . The doctors can keep upping the dose of these tablets but it doesn't take the pain away from the past events.
Anyway, I am young and innocent , single and if there are any hoo-too'ers out there that is also young and innocent then drop into my space or email for a chat .
Take care Smudger and all the best to MK2.
Nigel .

Hi Nigel, Cheers for that, its true though, that only people who suffer from depression are the only ones who can even begin to understand just what its like?
I always thought that my mood swings and irritability came from the constant back pain I have, but I have been told by the PSN that its mainly die to me having PTSD, and I never even knew of that, until she told me
BTW, it takes a lot of courage to walk away from a long term relationship, but its worth it in the long run, even for the person you have left, rather than carry on with the pretence of being happy
