Al and Tipper Gore

Tipper Gore told a gay rights advocacy group Friday night that an administration headed by her husband would ``stand with you, and if necessary, fight with you.''

In her speech, Mrs. Gore urged passage of the Hate Crimes Prevention Act and the Employment Nondiscrimination Act now before Congress. Both measures include protection against those targeted because of sexual orientation.

Just a tip which comes from having to write press releases, change Friday to 28 April 2000, so that it's becomes an historic statement rather than a week gone thing. smiley - winkeye

I hate that - when something occurs to you and then you just forget to do it.

Yeah, I'm really good for the most part. Totally stuck into the next version of a computing task I'm doing - not working, sadly. Well - it runs, just doesn't do what it's supposed to... smiley - winkeye

Mad Gerald (Gigolo & Owner of Heaven Sent - H2G2 Dating Agency !!! A312184)

* Just when a lull in conversation strikes, from out of the hallway comes a balding, greasy, sweaty, naked man, running like a man possessed. Beside him his little friend ‘Mr.Nelson’ bobbles up and down excitedly. When he gets to the center of the room he turns to you, ‘wibbling’ & ‘wobbling’ about, whilst jiggling up and down, in what you think to be a strangely erotic way. It’s then you notice smeared on his chest red lipstick proclaiming ‘I Love You !!!’, before he finally runs out another door exposing the ‘smiley’ face on his hairy behind... *

OK I've just read that the UK government is to do a major review of the sexual offences Act some of which dates back to Napoleonic times.

The Guardian reported that ministers were planning the biggest overhaul of Britain's sex offence laws for a century and were set to include new definitions or offences relating to prostitution, pimping, rape, oral sex, incest and indecent exposure.

The package, sometimes reforming laws dating back to the Napoleonic wars, would also offer fresh measures to protect homosexuals on top of the planned cut in the age of consent to 16 for gays, the newspaper said.

It said laws labelling acts such as males kissing in public as gross indecency and open to five years' imprisonment would be scrapped.

And the aforementioned reforms were reported by the Daily Mail (Saturday 20th May) as "Labour to let gay men kiss each other in street" with an article including "Male homosexuals are currently forbidden from displays of sexual affection... But restrictions on gay activity are to be eased..."

Ok just heard the the Liberal Democrats have done it again. For those off you not aware the Lib Dems have actually been shaping government policy for the last 15 years the Conservatives and then New Labour have been taking the bits that get good responses from the public and fitting them in with their startegy, hence the current government's spending on health and education though how they are funding is anyone's business.

Anyway the reason I am here is that the Liberal Democrats have done it again.

The Party that pushed for legalising homosexuality in the first palce, and was pro-abortion, and for equalising the age of consent is now in favour of equality for homosexual couples so that they have the same rights as heterosexual couples and for all their hard work and commitment deserve a place on this list.
