Of course it really helps if the companies actually respond to you. That way, no matter what the response is, you can at least get some feedback.

And that is one of the more irritating parts of the whole enterprise. A reply is always nice even if it's to say we've considered your application and decided against it. But just ignoring the effort shouldn't happen. Bad management.

Well, bad public relations, but it is a good use of time and effort as far as they are concerned.

I see it as a potential mistake if they ever want to try head hunting you in ther future. Personally I wouldn't be keen on accepting a position with someone who had ignored requests earlier and though I might accept the position I would try to make them pay more for the priviledge

I know what you mean, when they know its in their own interests they go all sweetness and light on you. It can lead to an advantage.

I was so relieved this morning the bar at Gatwick had BB in an optic. . First |_| of the stuff all weekend was at 11:58 second at 12:05.
