Just a quick quote from Bruce Lee:
'Stupidity assumes two forms, it speaks or is silent. Mute stupidity is bearable.'

To be realistic, even stupidity requires some type of thought process (no matter how inane or insane), which requires life, etc., etc. Thus, hydrogen probably is the most abundant element in the galaxy.
However, I would wholeheartedly agree that stupidity is the most abundant thing found on Earth. If only we could tap it to fuel our vehicles. Imagine it: instead of depending on Middle Eastern oil, we could depend on the stupid!
(This could be verrrrry interesting!)

Hello!
Pixie here!
You asked whether "stupidity" could be split, and if so, what would you get?
Perhaps a boring moron?

I cannot abide stupidity. It makes me a bad teacher, I know.
I have a mate who is completely on line, but when she got a fish tank for the first time she was calling me 7 times a day! I said that she should look on the internet because I am not a fish doctor.
That would be great, except now she is telling me all about Siamese Fighting Fish (not like I've kept them for years...)and the habits of neons (oooh! Never seen them!)
I have big fish now, and I do not make a habit of talking about their care. Let's face it, it is boring to be talking about fish all the time.
How fortunate am I that I have a life.
Oops, never addressed the stupidity issue. I cannot abide stupidity.

Yes, it is possible to split stupidity. The end result is a subatomic particle called stew.

In reply to Egnarts, making up words.
Burglarize (adverb)
(typically in American) To steal someone's dictionary forcing them to invent new words when their vocabulary fails (i.e. lost for words).

I know nothing. I admit to nothing. I have been nothing.
Stupidity is inherent and you cannot expect anything more from anything one else.

Well here's the thing though, there are many forms of stupidity. The one which is chosen is ignorance, and that is far worse than someone who's just stupid.
The antithesis of enlightenment maynot be necessarily true, if you know nothing from the start than you will more likely learn something that will enlighten you.

what other forms of stupidity are there?
are there not just degrees of stupidity?
imo the human race could be the smartest or the stupidist form of life on this planet. we have the ability to do much but don't know how to use this possiblitiy for our advantage. so imo that puts the other forms of life higher than us because we fail to use our possibilities.
are we just stupid or is it our nature to fail?
