Hi there,
Is there a cricket supporters club on h2g2? If not can you please give me advice on how to set it up?

A964064 is the fantasy cricket league which has fellow cricket fans on it so even if you are not intereste in getting involved then the you can guarentee to find someone there to chat too.
My dads is a cricket fan and took me to the Scarborough cricket festival in 1995 or thereabouts and it was South Africa v best XI
Jaunty Rhodes - what a fielder 
Naturally it got rained of in the afternoon but i enjoyed it!

The best thing to do is to set up a page for your club and then we can help you recruit new members if you like.
I know one big cricket fan is Swiv U34159 who runs the cricket ground at A414208 It has been quiet for quite some time but perhaps we can get it going again?

Hi Abi,
I've looked at the site. If we revamp it a bit that would be fine, but if someone could help me with the technical stuff I'd be more than happy to start it again and take it on as my personal project for the guide. BTW have you read my entry about Tony Greig in PR A1016876 ?
Basic ideas so far.
Bowling machine - to discuss bowlers
The nets - to discuss batsmen
The scorebox - for stats anoraks
S.C.G. - to discuss Australian cricket
Lords - to discuss English cricket
Trent Bridge - to discuss county cricket
etc etc etc
Let me know what you think, and put me in touch with a technical whizz and you've got yourself a new director of cricket.

Swiv is happy to help. What about keeping the front page and revamping the threads? We could run a recruitment drive amongst lapsed members to get them to re-sign. I'd be happy to oversee that side of things if you want.
