Some people place a butterfly (decorative metal), on the outside wall of their house. Does anyone know what the significance of this is. I know it means something pleasant, but I cannot remember and I need to know fairly quickly. Anyone help?

I find those butterflies quite annoying actually, they are far from realistic, for one thing. They are akin to people who live within sight of the sea having to have anchors and ships wheels in their gardens........
