52's pretty good. If you're worried about it though, cleaning the dust out is a very good idea. Open the side, and using a clean, preferably new, paintbrush, gently sweep all areas while using a vacuum cleaner on it's absolutely very lowest setting to suck the dust out.

See, this is exactly the reason I installed SpeedFan; to detect when it was time to clean off dust - but why is my PC getting hotter (oy, stop sniggering in the back!) only when using two specific games? But not other games?
Different game engines, mayhaps? Not that I'm exactly sure what that is, but it does sound plausible, does it not?

And today is the day when I finally get to feel smug about actually updating my stationary PC to Win 7 Pro:

I mentioned it to several colleagues at w*rk and they all went
How could you possibly not have learnt that Micro$**t has decided not to support or upgrade security for Win XP unless you pay for it?

Different games have different levels of CPU and GPU intensity.
Basically, the more work either your CPU or your graphics chip has to do, the hotter it will run.
Some games are very graphics intensive, and as such will force the heat up. Especially if they're also fast moving. A high frame per second rate means that it's having to redraw the screen very quickly, combine that with detailed graphics and you can see your temperature start going right up.

You know you are doing your job right when a teacher you subbed for calls you and asks you to sub for them again.

I love being able to tell Mr. C to get a certain sub again--recommendations mean a much better day in special ed than a request to avoid a sub! (Mr. W is a very nice man, but he does not take authority. Mr. L proves that you *can* be a very nice man to be a sub for us--he *does* take charge.)
I can see you being a great sub, GDZ!

*a small flying saucer floats in from the corridor with a note tucked under one of its windscreen wipers. It floats in the centre of the room in exactly the same way as a brick doesn't. Occasional soft 'ahem' noises emit from it*

Oh, that was amusing, but where is the ancient Scottish accent I completedly failed to understand in the 90ies? And I wasn't the only one, we ended up telling them to keep their room keys (instead of handing them in when they left the hotel) because none of us understood the room number they said.
