I think the major plot elements so far are:
Stone ruined castle called Dreadknickers containing a portrait that is actually a portal to another dimension.
A Violent storm
A Man in grey
A weird creature
A handkerchief covered in phlegm
A nearby cottage
A very small, lost key
A headless, groaning corpse in the undergrowth
A talking hedgehog named Arnie wearing a badge labelled 'My Name's Harry'
The secret to looking looking for the Headless Corpse's Cursed Treasure that's hidden in the castle is apparently the rhyme
'The picture and the key
Have been here since 1933.
The way to get rich quick
is keep positive, slick!"
A chippy visited by Calvin & Hobbs, where the creature ordered a double cheeseburger and a deep fried slice of cantaloupe with salt and vinegar, with mayo and pickle on the side. This has been driven to in a 1934 model SJ Deusenberg roadster, the keys to which have been given to Arnie while the duo have bought the last deep fried Mars bar.

Arnie shouted "Frank! No!" earlier on, and I presumed he was talking to the person holding the bundled entity, but I could be wrong.
