I'm still in the same bed, but the therapy team now steps forward in earnest to restore my core strength, re-establish and possibly enhance my wchair-related skills, and ensure that I am fit enough to resume independent living.
Eyes on the prize!
Yesterday was a great day all around. Pip brought me a thermos of proper tea, the doctor pronounced good news, and, back at the nursing care facility, I scored a root beer float. 
What is it about a root beer float? They are one of the most delicious treats in the universe as we know it.

Watching former sports champions competing against each other on Swedish TV, and came across a video reply to one of the two major morning Swedish newspaper sports commentators who complained that the members of the Swedish Womens Olympic Team in Curling were so boring (because of their everyday jobs) and 'no rock & roll' whereupon they made this video together with Hammerfall; Swedish metal band:

I need, I need, I don't know what I need. A hot drink and a cold drink and an alcoholic drink and two paracetamol and every mentholated sweet in the building, for starters.
Who was it who said 'A cold in the head in June is a moral outrage' or something similar? Because I concur. And May is nearly as bad.

That paper was a beast to write. Been trying to find decent source material fro the last 6 weeks. That would be when my current term started.

That is great. What is much less great is that my local hospital's outpatients clinics still are managing to run horribly behind time
