[He casts his sixth sense out, trawling for anything interesting, and, finding nothing, continues following along. It does not occur to him that this does not mean that there's nothing to find.]

[B4 is engaging in the ultimate "no-no," walking and texting at the same time. Actually, he's not generating a text message on his PDA as he walks, he's typing out another Journal Entry for the November NaJoPoMo challenge, occasionally glancing up to ensure he's still keeping pace with the rest of the group. He also whistles a lively tune as he walks.]

I finally have internet again!

*A shape resembling a chromed sea shell large enough to barely fit through a closet door becomes visible over the coral forest. At first flying what appears to be a search pattern, the shell shaped ship seems to zero in on the group, heading straight for Lil.*

*leads the group down a lane of elkhorn coral, round a corner and into the middle of a plaza surrounded on three sides by low buildings of s style reminiscent of the American Southwest. The 4th side of the plaza is marked by a guardrail and several pay-to-view telescopes*

Topside Plaza! Dat's t'ree sand dollars on account. If da little furry lady wishes to continue to avail herself of dis cab, dere will be an extra percentage on da fare to go any furder. On account.

You may wish to avail yourselves of da amenities. Dere are souvenir shops, groceries, several cafes and a nice little bistro dat serves da best beer. Dogfish.

Ooh! Telescopes!

*Runs over and rummages around in his tac-vest for some change.*

*jumps nimbly down from the seahorse and looks around for an ATM that gives out sand dollars.*

*floats toward a row of shops* I'm not sure I want to know what's in the grocery store, but if there are postcards it would be nice to send one to the atelier.

*The chrome seashell continues to head towards Lil*

Hey seahorse, here we go that's three sand dollars, and five buttons for the fayre, and another sand dollar for your patience.

*looks around for the other adventurers*

*after several months of looking through the selection, lil picks out a postcard of the Gootanic sitting bolt upright on the sea floor, against a cliff wall, and one labeled The Singing Anemones, showing tiered ranks of anemones apparently moving in synchrony*

*to the shopkeeper* do you sell stamps?

*Looks up sharply*

Sorry, I spaced out there for a moment or two!

[Yar frowns, glancing towards Lil, then turns and looks vaguely in the chrome seashell's direction, but doesn't see it yet.]

*chrome seashell slows, as if not wanting to overshoot*
