..I checked with Kristina (the Flamenco dancer) and she says OK, she'll dance, but only if you are REALLY interested, she won't dance for some semi-amused audience eating and talking during her performance..

The first new continuity issue I came across deals with the peer review scheme. I have put together another article on a controversial issue (go figure) and it seems that discussing the topic has taken over the forum for review. I don't know if this sort of thing will help push it through the Towers, or hinder it. It might convince visitors to join into the conversation, or it might blot out good feedback due to an overzealous debate thread. I would think that criticism belongs in the review thread, and any content discussions should be posted to the article, but of course, it is necessary to get other people's views first, and if they agree, disseminate the proper protocol. That's what the Page of Continuity is all about, is it not?

Hi Odra..can understand the farrier but how did you get the horse into the dentists?
*starts on second Guinness and munches on Naan bread dunked in Tandoori sauce*
This is my idea of heaven on Earth.
Loony, dya not feel that a good wine is ruined by a curry? or do you only partake of a goodie with a mild dish?

*Passes Colonel sellers the Naan bread with a mystified look and has another sip of Guinness*
I'll be quiet if she dances

Takes note to look for the Rosemount Blue Mountain, having only seen the standard and reserve stuff before.
I know that it's not during but after eating a good curry that my tasebuds do funny things. I can't drink real ale as the curry will have destroyed any semblance of what it should taste like - the number of times I've gone to the pub and thought this beers off after a curry.

Thanks, eatsmice - anyone else wanna see a really spectacular Flamenco dancing performance? No conversations, no rattling with forks and knives during the dancing...?

*Goes back a couple of pages rereads CS's comments and goes .."aaaah with almost understanding"*
Apologies CS, sometimes the more serious parts of life go way over my head.
Back to the wine tho....In Glasgow a curry was an early evening meal (around 8pm) with wine/beer etc
and we would depart the restauarant with an amazing "Drunk on food" feeling and head homewards (or perhaps a small chaser in a pub (but by that time there's no room for alcohol)
In England its always been my impression that a curry is something to have after the pubs shut (leading to the Asian owners to roll their eyes in dismay at the debacle about to ensue)
What's the sitch with the rest of you in your home countries?

*a singer, a guitar-player and a percussionist entering, taking their places*
*lights dimming*
*guest stop talking, expectantly*
*spotlights*
*entering: Kristina, the Flamenco dancer*
*hair tied back, yellow lilies in her hair
black dress with voluminous skirts
red shawl draped across shoulders*
*starts dancing - vigourusly!
*expressive, intense, black look in her eyes, flashing at you*
*whirling around, passion, fury, temper*
*INTENCE, VIBRATING, CAUSING AN EARTHQUAKE IN SOUL AND HEART OF SPECTATORS*
*CRESCENDO, impressive finish*
*ignoring spectators, if there are any*
*panting, sweating*
*swirling out*

Wow that was something!
I like going out for a curry as an evening out like you say eatsmice. I'm not to keen on doing the go out and get beered up, then go for a curry as it's the only place still serving alcohol and some food (I'll admit that I have done that before though).
Catch you all later. Off for my beauty sleep now (ok I know I'll need lots of it before some bright spark makes the comment )

Lonnytunes - Winter Is Here Posted Jul 27, 2000
A man whose ISP decided to throw him off the net belately applauds the flamenco dancer. Clap. Clap.
Sips muscat, probably the same wine the thirsty thirteen drank at the last supper. Did they eat a curry?
Key: Complain about this post
