Indeed, that is a very nice thought Santra, and one I wholehartedly agree with.

Ag, each time I read 'burger people' in your post my mind strayed onto thinking of the 'beaker people'. I wonder if in years to come archeologists will dig up polystyrene burger packaging and build up some theories on the burger people, so called because that is the only artefacts from the civilisation that lived thousands of years before...

I'm not really here...it's 3am.

Just wanted to report that I tried the Dove chocolate and it's certainly much better than the other stuff smiley - ok I may conduct an experiment and grab a bar of every chocolate I can find and write something about it when I get back to England...perhaps not, the thought is making me sick.

Toooo muuuccchhh energy!!! I blame a combination of the chocolate, coca-cola and a vague nervousness.

It's nearly 4:30am and I've managed to bug various people around h2g2 about terribly *important* things, send a big list of things to be taken out of Peer Review, make a start on my entry about buying a piano, eat MORE food, fall over a cat, read my entire backlog including boring things I didn't read first time round, and write out my musical scales 5 times over...smiley - ermsmiley - wow

Mr. Dreadful - But really I'm not actually your friend, but I am...

*Stumbles out of the backlog, having skimmed as much of it as he could handle.*

Hi to SpaceCadette!
Happy Birthday to us!
Not sure what I think about WWII as it was obviously A-Good-Thing-Cos-It-Got-Rid-Of-Hitler but I am anti-war, my grandad was a Desert Rat but never, ever talks about it... I just love the irony that everyone goes on about the Nazi concentration camps, empire building and anti-semitism but we Brits had all those things waaaaaay before Germany ever did. So many people like to think that we've always been the 'good guys' and that we have a spotless track record.

Ermm... Oh yeah, presents...
*Delves into a sack and produces:*
A pot of Tartan paint for Lil.
Some Tartan antennae warmers for Amy.
Ten Universal Kilts for those who want them, these will change into whatever size and pattern the wearer wishes.
A set of anti-smellfungus bagpipes for Hyp, these are specially designed to make smellfungi run away.
A mountain of shortbread.
Lots of haggis (including some veggie ones).
A bowl of porridge.

Good Doctor Zomnker (This must be Tuesday," said GDZ to himself, sinking low over his Dr. Pepper, "I never could get the hang of Tuesdays.")

I certainly did not think I would be doing this well at this point in my quit, 6 days and no cravings yesterday.

Good going GDZ smiley - applause, you are over the hump now! You just have to learn to survive those trigger situations - mine are when I have got a drink in my hand...

One of my triggers was walking the kids to school, I would light up as we were leaving the yard. Now I just pop a piece of gum in. I'm going through A LOT of gum.

Afternoon all.

Quitting smoking: never really managed to work up the desire to do it, and attemping to quit when I don't really want to is doomed to failure.

I have just finished watching Super Size Me.

CHEESE has morphine-like compounds in it? But I love cheese! Ah. OK. I see. Dang.

Lunch today is absolutely going to be salad with added salad and more salad on the side and an apple.

*Tries on a kilt and does a twirl* Very nice, Mr D.

Lunch today was a chicken tiki sarnie and a can of Red Bull, tea last night was fish 'n' chips and beer. Um. Not exactly healthy eating.
