Hey My Boy, my pal, ask yourself this, if you don't want to go places why did you end up in here eh, I know you feel uncomfortable, just let your Uncle Albert guide you. There's more to life than the frozen Tundra and a forming glacier. Trust me

I'd go with what WA's saying, Woolly... I know him well (though not too well, at his request) and he has contacts in the 'entertainment' industry.

Ah yes they were the days when I ran a chain of Polecat Paradises all across Nodnol. I had large Haggis estates in Jockland and traveled everywhere in a Rolls Royce. Ah hem, anyway,

There is a program on radio 4 right now, about how to kill a mammoth.
Just mentioning it is passing you understand - it has nothing to do with my being sat on for half an hour...

I'd like to make it clear that although I'm perched on the mammoth's back, which is lovely and soft and warm, I had no part in the steering exercise and do not condone it in any way.
IS there any chance of a sip of your tea?

Do Woolly Mammoths rock?
Anyway. I just received a cd from an old drumplayer. The drumplayer of the rockband in which I sang during the years before I moved here in '93.
He had listened to all his tapes - including tapes from our band's practice evenings - and recorded some of the numbers and burnt them on a cd. Very sweet, thoughtfull and considerate of him.
I've just listened to the cd, and boy did the guitarist do some awesome solos.
As for the singing and the quality of the recordings: a bit immature and insecure - but definitely with fine rock and blues moments from both female singers. The male singer should have stuck to his guitar.
I'm in an odd position right now. Co-working with my son-in-law - actually my daughter and he are not married but have known each other for 17 years and have a son (4 years).
They are soon to move apart - the adults - and I've recently entered a w*rk-group with son-in-law which will continue for a year at least.
Right now I'm depending on his co-w*rk for an assignment with a close deadline. I've paid him his part of the wages today, because he needs it, allthough I won't get paid untill the w*rk is done - and then with four weeks' respite.
Never mind. I have a patient bank (and they have security in our house ) - and it is better to find separate lives with care for the son than having to think about economical problems.

wasn't there a bean bag around here?
I mean a real one. Hmmm.
I was going to say something, but I forget now.
Aah, yes, luxury apartments in Japan, very strange to see not washing, but futons hanging over the balconies turning them into a very different looking beast.

Had a visit from the insurance agent for the guy who hit C back in June. Not only did he bring the insurance check for replacing the damaged items, he brought a new bike, helmet, and lock.

He brought the new bike to you? I thought they were supposed to give you the money so you could go out and by the bike yourself? What if C doesn't like the color? Or wanted those stand-on thingies that stick off the back wheel, for doing tricks?

They were supposed to give us the check to buy a new bike. They brought both. The bike they gave him is worth morth than the check was and it has pegs (stand-on thingies) on the front and back tires.
