One of my favorite things about making pickles and relishes is that they're so pretty in the jars. I know it's silly, but I enjoy lining them all up and looking at them.
My sis always makes watermelon pickles. They're really pretty. And sometimes I do the cauliflower, carrot, pearl onion, red pepper combo. And I'd forgotten about dilled beans. My grandma mde those. They're really tasty. Now I have to go find the recipe.

Regarding the sandwiches, I think that the bread and cheese choice has the most effect on the overall sandwich.
I just had a fantastic Tuna on Rye with Swiss and it was fantastic. I have tried it with American and Cheddar cheese and it just doesn't seem to have the right flavor.

I think cheddar, extra sharp cheddar, works well with tuna. Especially if it's on a tuna melt with a slice of Witty's .

Just had a beef and bean burrito with salsa for lunch. Would a taco count as a sandwich?

Heard about it at the Kraken list, which is about the writer Russell Hoban.
I went to call Urthlunk this morning and discovered that the battery in my cordless phone was dead. That chore will now have to wait till Monday morning.

Lil, fillings in pita bread are considered sandwiches, so tacos surely are, too. My all time favorite taco is a flour tortilla filled with carne guisada. Much better than fajitas. Dang! Now I'm hungry for tacos.
Loved the pic. Remember the one that came out right before the election that had him next to a chimp and they were both making the same face?
Tacos don't have pickles! But they do have salsa.

H has set the traps, both sons are that we didn't chose humane ones, but I reckon a sudden death whilst nibbling a piece of or licking up peanut butter is preferably to being dumped in the open countryside far from home and game for any predator.
Anyone else seen the adverts to buy your very own One Ring, apart from Dubya?

Badali Jewelry has the rights to the image of The One Ring, they are a Utah company and they make a gorgous ring. I have thought about getting one for myself.

I have two words for you, Courtesy...fish tacos.
Yes, there really is such a dish. Flaked mahi mahi with shredded cabbage, black olives, cotija cheese and a mango salsa. Yum yum.

Uno Mas is the name of a local microbrew's Mexico inspired lager. Very good stuff really.
But you kind of sound sound silly saying Uno mas Uno Mas.

Barbacoa tacos are good, too. In San Antonio most places only had them on Sundays. It was another reason to look forward the the weekends.
