I had tonsilitis as a kid actually. I am now 27 years tonsilitis free, due to my lack of tonsils.

Hyp, nothing ever goes right when you are remodelling with a DIY-type cousin. Is there a vacant room at the library where you could have your meeting? I'm trying to think of a reason to use the smiley. the new smileys, by the way. I'm not sure how to use some of them yet, but they are right nifty.

I've had tonsillitis before, used to be a martyr to it in my teens. To it I owe the infamous swirling wallpaper fever-induced hallucinations. So much empathy for Kelli. At the moment I merely (merely! HAH!) have a bad cold, complete with sore throat, bunged-up-ness, sinus pain, nose-bleeds and a voice like Eartha Kitt on helium. So I'm staying home and letting the Catholic work-ethic guilt and the Jewish work-ethic guilt fight it out between them (otherwise known as my parents, their influence, gotta love 'em). Like I'd be any good on the issue desk today and in any case I'm probably vilely infectious.

Anyway, I did a load of laundry (I think that that was the Catholic guilt) and now feel feeble and achey too. So, of course, I'm trying to write a scintillating little piece on how-to essays. Which is definitely the Jewish guilt. Where is the Atheistic voice of reason telling me to go the heck back to bed and take some more aspirin?
