Howdy all. I brought my favourite potato salad. Mixture of blue and red potatos, serverly cooked but not mushy, tossed with a oil and vinegar mixture with garlic, thyme, rosemary, cayenne pepper, honey, lemon and brown sugar.
*eyes some roasted vegetables*

Child of Saunola - bbq is short for barbecue, which is what we in Sweden call 'grillfest'

Marv, I've got some tuna and swordfish steaks here, some lemon and lime marinade too.
I never liked fish much unless it was covered in batter, fried within an inch of its life and served up with chips.
Then H (the veggie) bought some and cooked them on the bbq because he knew my dear old Dad loved fish. I tried them and was amazed at how nice they were, fresh, no bones, mild flavour of the sea with a hint of lemon and lime. Delicious!

Corona is slightly salty so a bit of citrus goes well with it. In fact that is my favourite drink aside from a good gin and tonic. Thing is, a BBQ demands beer for me. I always have bottle in hand while grilling.

The best tomatoes I've ever head was in the south of former Yugoslavia, on a market in Skopje - they were big as apples, deep reed, juicy, sweet, tasty, and the juice was very red... that's the kind I've used in the feta salad...

Tomatoes are good. Chuck a few on the barbie - whole but don't let them fall through the grill.
Now then Here's a jug of Pimm's, can't have an outdoor summer type thing without it I think.
Chuck another kebab on the grill would ya Marv.

Marv, there is no hurry with the fish, I shall just sit in this deckchair and enjoy the company.
Op, may I have a little of your Pimms? No bbq is complete without it.
