Brings tears to my eyes - it's a long time since we ran our current dogs on Weston beach.
We lived almost on Ryde (IOW) seafront for 5 years, and the two dogs we had then loved to run on the beach, when they barked it echoed lovely.
We only get lakes and woods out here in Germany, but there is one steam train.

Now that's great customer service! We could learn a lot from Alice.
Hmm. Sometimes I wish I had a hearing aid I could turn off. Maybe I should get a fake hearing aid, and only hear what I want. Hmm.

Sorry wordsmith. I just mean to say that at times, working with the public, I'd like not to be able to hear them.

S'OK as long as I got to understand.
I know dogs aren't everyone's cup of tea, and their antics can be a bit offputting at times. Round here, I guess every fourth house has a dog or more.
I don't think we could live without dogs, or leastways, we'd feel there was smeting missing if we didn't have dogs in the house.

Hmmmm not so sure on that, I know several people who would love to have dogs but reailse it is not practical, and one or two who have dogs but really shouldn't because they just do not have the time for them.
