Comes back out of doorway, sees crew looking astonished or scared, it's hard to judge, and decides to go to the pub for a stiff drink, shouting:"I'll be back later, if anyone's here, but there doesn't seem to be anyone about. I think I'm ruining the atmosphere" and, realising that no-one is responding, shrugs and leaves.
