A h2g2 AViators clip is in production for this Entry, and it will be at http://www.youtube.com/v/644WGICky6s any moment now, thank God! I'm hoping the two could hit the FP at the same time; this would be the first time this has happened.

Hi Rich, a good read. I like reading your walking articles as you've done area's I've never been to during my walking/climbing days.
Found a few gremlims for you.
*forest and it worth taking a map- the Ordnance Survey map OL22 (New Forest) covers the walk in 1:25,000 scale - and a compass. *
'forest and its worth taking a map and compass. The Ordnance Survey map OL22 (New Forest) covers the walk in 1:25,000 scale'
*look for the pub on the left and pull in to the sliproad, the car park is at the end. If you've come in by train it's just over the road bridge you can see from the platform*.
I think where you have used semi-colons a comma would be better.
*Heath is an important habitat*,
'Heath land is an important habitat',
*under a railway bridge andf swings*
'under a railway bridge and swings'
*excellent lunch stop, or a place to break*

*this is probably beyond most walkers' wallets*

Off to listen/watch the video now.

Thanks all - they're all done except heath > heath land. In my experience, when you're talking about the habitat, it is known simply as 'heath'. 'Heathland' is considered a little old-fashioned, as the 'land' is pretty superfluous.

Fabulous - I'm fed up with circular walks back to the car, so finding one that will bring me back to the start easily is great.
One question - what's the best time of year for this walk? I don't know the New Forest so if I'm coming all the way down from Essex I'd like to get the best from the walk.
Great video! Shame it can't be put straight on the entry, like some other entries have.
Nice

Jim Lynn is looking at a tag for us to insert clips into Edited Entries, Mina - the more clips we have, the more likely that is to happen

Nice one.
Unfortunately I now have A Walk In The Black Forest
going round and round in my head.
I might well try this one this summer.

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.
If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.
Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!
