Yes, I'd certainly do a mail order.
I think we Brits should try to do a sacrfice and start very late to accommodate the Yanks. Some time very soon after New Year seems ideal. What about the night of Saturday 2nd?

Any time very soon after New Year means I'm off in The Gambia getting married. That's probably a bit too much of a sacrifice, to be fair. We fly at 9am (or is it 7am - blimey, best check) on New Year's Day.

So...not a great time, then?
Well, February half-term would be my next holiday, and rather inconveniently, some bugger has decided to hold his wedding reception around then...

2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side... Posted Nov 7, 2009
I'm assuming the company is still good; They seemed to have a bit of a hiatus from the interwebs a while back, and I think they kind of relaunched themselves; I'm sure I remember getting an E-mail saying as much, but they've seemingly kept up as they were with their huge range and such like you may remember my solo tasting one night with all the very* strong beers; I think there was some of the Porter and stout from SN in it, plus some belgum beers... t'was a while back now mind...

How about immediately after the schools break up in December?

1. When do school go back in session?
2. Would Martin Luther King Day (January 18) be useful all around? It would be off for Mr. Nerd, a day of rest for me, a Monday therefore not a weekend for Gosho, and well into the future for beer shipping.

I'm in The Gambia for most of January, Happy Nerd. We fly on January 1st and don't get home until the 23rd.

Monday is usually an especially busy day for me, being the first day after the weekend and the day I have 101 tasks to take of, like ordering beer and wine, writing the bar schedule, cleaning the ice machines... And being a holiday, MLK day would mean that the cinema is busier than usual on a Monday
It's also my Friday though cos I usually get Tuesday and Wednesday off, so a beerfest would have been a welcome way to wind down

Well, then, we'll make it work. Mr. Nerd can use a "personal day", I can schedule stuff on other days. What are our choices for dates that work for you?

I have to say, I absolutely loved the beerfest. There was plenty of time not just taste but to enjoy the brews, even matching some to our meals. It's too bad we didn't find many beers from your part of the world, but it was fun trying to match as nearly as possible the beer styles.
We are looking forward to the next beerfest.
Happy Nerd
