This sounds ridiculous, but I have used it, and it really really works.
Whenever I am asked a question I don't want to answer, I just say
"These aren't the droids you're looking for."
It works a charm.
It can also be effective in getting past bouncers.

Of course, you have to accompany it with a wave of the hand too.
