several, a/k/a random

this programme is on my local radio station.....
www.coasttocoastAM.com
and it certainly causes me pause (or paws my causes)(or something) because i'm techno-stoopid on digital radio and the like.
the show is not entirely on the paranormal 'ghost' stories and does include breaking overnight (for me) news as well as scientific-related stories, some political commentary and other, shall we say, 'off-center' views.
it beats the lleh out of hearing repeated sports stories and other 'canned audio' on the public airwaves over here.

I've gotta say, any radio show that applies the heading "HOT STORIES" to this lot:

Virtual Humans Proposed As Space Travelers
Partnership envisioned between in-the-flesh space voyagers and AI entitites. --Space.com

3-D scan reconstructs face of a mummy
Researchers produce one of the most detailed views of an ancient Egyptian. --MSNBC

Mystery boom shakes city’s northeast
Fort Wayne is investigating a series of loud noises.
--Journal-Gazette

Alien probe 'best way to find ET'
Researchers believe probe could be more efficient than looking for radio signals. --BBC News

The Search for King Arthur
Jon Downes tracks the myth and legend.
--Phenomena Magazine

...sounds good to me!

the programme certainly can be a discission topic and i'm semi-amazed it's on nationally, much less out here, halfway between Somewhere and Nowhere.....
