thought about just renting a motel room just to get away from the house for a couple days. Then a thought hits me: what will I take with me?
I am on a bicycle, so it would have to fit in a knapsack or my duffel, and when I get there, where will I put it? And when I get there, what will I do? I'll probably just watch cable and sleep. In which case why should I take anything?
So I just stay at home and ignore the mess and play with the computer and the cats.
My need to get away has pretty much disappeared with my old noisy neigbors. The new noisy neighbors apparently have jobs, so they make their noise when I'm at work for the most part. I can live with that.

Hi TR, Good to hear from you again Sorry to hear about your noisy neighbours I know what you are going through. We have sent away for one of those U/T noise things, that will stop the dog from barking, it says it will even work through walls, and has a range of 25 feet.
So we only hope it works when it arrives
We thought that we would at least get a few days of quiet, but as you read in that Snippet, we never got it
