A Conversation for Crew's Quarters

Surprisingly comfortable for such a small space, the room is illuminated with soft candlelight. In one corner, a hammock gently sways from side to side with the rocking motion of the ship. In another corner there is a modest sized table and chair, which occupies most of the room’s surface area. On the desk sits an open journal and a pen and a half eaten cheesecake for all to nibble who visits the room. As well, there is a decanter of amontillado and spare glasses. Have a drink and a bite to eat, if you feel so inclined. A tiny windowpane lets in what little light it can and the sill is decorated with origami figures. Mysteriously, the room has a fifth corner! Located there is a minor bookshelf with a modest anthology of classic literature. Feel free to browse through the collection. In addition, there is an overstuffed chair and a freestanding gas lamp in which to read by.
