A Conversation for Talking Point: Getting Back in Touch with Old Friends

This is a very funny novel which ends with the class reunion from hell, called the "Togethering". An excerpt from a review in The Sunday Business Post, regarding the protagonist:

QUOTE

When he is asked to contribute an update about himself to the Catamount Notes, the newsletter produced by his alma mater, he decides to update them not just on his miserable career, but on his whole miserable slacker life.

Cue a veritable snowstorm of one-liners. "I used to be bright for my age," Teabag moans, "but then I got older." Later, he points out: "We all walk to the beat of a different drummer. It's just that some of these drummers suck."

END QUOTE

The novel's, uhhh, "hero" sums up his life: "I did not pan out."

Amazon UK has it, not US yet (so I had to pay a LOT of postage ...)
