a village,
there are few people here
none of them are origanal inhabitants of the village
there is a monument in the village center of a dragon with ruby eyes

*a wolf runs into the village and stops by the monument, it sniffs around the village before running off*

*something in black, that may be a man, gnarled and twisted, makes his way into the village from the shadows.*
*He looks up at the stone dragon in the centre of the village and, if anyone was brave enough to look, a twisted smile becomes visible in the faint light.*
*he mutters something and a storm begins to build up.*
*the stone dragon is thrown into sharp relief by the lightning. He shouts something to the wind and lays his hands on it.*
*Stone shards shiver off the surface of the creature as it moans and rears heavily on its haunches. villagers scream and run into their houses for the little safety it brings them.*
*If any of them had seen a dragon before, they would have known that this - this thing is not a proper dragon. Between living as stone and something else entirely, it has become twisted like the man-thing that has awoken it.*
[Twisted man] Come. There is much we have to do, my brother.
*the dragon-thing roars, and the man-thing climbs on top of him. They rear up together and launch into the sky.*
