We really must fix this date.
As time's getting on we perhaps should put it off till the 23rd. I decree that it will be on 24th September. How many could come to Heidelberg for the day on that day - it's a Saturday.

Saturday 23rd would be fine by me - but don't know if I'll have the car, and cause I work that Saturday, I'd rather go to Heidelberg by car than by train.

Oh dear - I got the date wrong while trying to correct myself.
Saturday is the TWENTY FOURTH - 24th - of September. Would there be enough of us for me to organise something or shall we just meet up and wander around?

OK - I shall now propose that we meet at 11:30-12:00 in the café at Heidelberg railway station (the station is a bit out of town, so we'd have to gather there before going into town to get lost together).
We would have coffee until all have arrived and then go into town. After a stroll down the main street, and a look at the Heilig Geist-Kirche, if it's open, we could look for somewhere for lunch. Then we could take the Bergbahn up to the castle and possibly join a guided tour, if on offer. If people are interested in looking at record and bookshops (to be recommended) we should do this before going up to the castle, as the shops may be shut by the time we get down again.
Or we can take a short boat trip on the Neckar if the weather's nice.
We can conclude with dinner somewhere. Last trains usually go somewhere between 9 and 10 pm.
