That's difficult with international tickets, you may have to work it out until the border and then continue with bahn.de. It might be cheaper to fly!

I could look it up under bahn.de, maybe some special tickets could be on offer.

Have a look here : http://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/query.exe/dn?ld=212.55&seqnr=5&ident=dd.01724013.1123432325&selectedTariffId=108&outConId=C1-0&retConId=C2-2&orderSOP=yes&showAvail=yes&

That's the cheapest I could find.

I know it costs about 75€ for 300 km to my mother's, so maybe it would be cheaper - if you find an airport in the same Verkehrsverbund as your destination, the ticket for the rest of the way is usually cheaper.

thanks, please try

I'll search a bit more on the ÖBB page, it's a bit difficult, I can't even find trains before 17:30, but it's impossible that there are none I think

And don't forget the Lidl railway tickets, I wonder whether they go to Austria?

They only suggest the Bahncard or railplus - if you have any of them ? Why don't you go to the next station tomorrow and ask them ? They should know.

Try having a look in the hitchhiking sites - most of them have international routes as well, and it would be near the end of vacations.
