Thursdays are funny

I was watching the comedy shows on BBC2 last night when something occured to me - in the current line-up, the main characters and presenters are all gay: Simon Amstell on Buzzcocks, a new thing called Beautiful People, and Graham Norton's chat show.
No-one's made a big fuss out of it, it's not part of some patronising gay night - it just so happens that during primetime, BBC2 shows are all fronted by gay guys.
Anyone else think this is kinda cool?

I did notice that, actually ... especially as I knew that Beautiful People - probably the best of the lot that evening - was written by Jonathan Harvey, the guy who wrote Beautiful Thing.
But yeah ... it was a nice coincidence that it was a predominately gay Thursday evening.
