Amends is this week, I don't see the big deal but my best friend seems to be going mad over it! I think that The Wish and Lover's Walk were fab! I wouldn't mind seeing both episodes again!

OK Buffy fans, can anyone tell me what is missing from this picture.
Buffy haas to find and kill some demon/vampire/teenage boy friend etc, Buffy et al seperate to find demon, one of them does, and always ends up having to fight alone/get captured or et as they cannot get the others to help.
Derrrr!, where are their mobile phones??? These are now so crucial for USA teenagers they would feel naked without them?
Anyone else noticed this or am I a bit obsessed?

1. If you're fighting a monster/demon/vamp etc, do you have time to get on your mobile.
2. Not all of the Scoobies have a lot of money (see Xander) so mobiles might not be an option.
3. Three words- Giles. Mobile phone...
4. It would kinda ruin the dramatic tension wouldn't it. This isn't real life children...

1. OK, many scenes revolve around watching and waiting
2. 10 year old kids in inner city schools have mobiles (subidized from drug deals no doubt)

Yeah Father Christmas aint real, sussed that one, but Buffy, Willow, Xander not real, *sigh* does this mean I can stop walking round with my steak (think it's gone off a bit, must pop round to butcher for a new one) holy water (last time a got a re-fill the nun got most upset) and assorted religious symbols? Or are vampire real?
