A Conversation for Terrapins

just wondering... do you have only one terrapin? I have two and they've just started laying eggs like crazy (a bit unexpected as for the last 6 years I thought they were both male). I've incubated them, but when they hatch, there's no way I can keep them all. Do you know any terrapin sanctuary's?

There's a couple of terrapin rescue centres if you are in England. You could email [email protected] or put an add at www.animalrescuers.co.uk

Personnally, I think I would throw away future eggs, because there's already a surplus of red-ears thanks to the ninja turtle craze, and then people dump them in streams, where they devastate the native fauna. Just an opinion, hope you manage to find homes for them all. You could also try posting on www.arkgroup.org.uk
