These Taxi's are incredible! And the police have given up. Do you know that before '95 it was in the doors and walls of taxi's that all the arms and funds for the resistance were moved? The reluctance of the traffic police to pull over a taxi started there - with never knowing if you'd be faced with armed resistance to a traffic fine - and its just gotten worse.
In Jhb its almost generally accepted that taxi's are road hazzards - just like potholes or accidents - we just avoid them!
