h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I've just been wondering how the group is doing after the initial flush of enthusiasm.

Excluding GB - who is a prolific writer with or without the group. I'd like to know if everyone is meeting their objectives ... writing, in PR or in the EGWW.


I know I've met my writing promise and I'm trying hard to get to PR every day - but I admit to missing more than a few days. In the EGWW I'm not so good .... so shamefully have been avoiding it - although I am subscribed. I promise I will give it another go this month.


How have the rest of you been getting on.


This shouldn't be confused with the Feb totals thread, it's not about writing but about the whole package we undertook in December.

I haven't done anything during January..

I am currently researching my next project.. I know, I yam very slow... sowwy

I haven't written much myself lately, but have been subbing like mad.

Do you manage to get to the EGWW.


I find it hard work and was hoping some busy bee would happen by and tell me how to do it.

This little bee isn't as buzzing as he used to be. Looking to change jobs, things are getting me down. But I'll try and get in where and when I can

No stress .... I was just wondering.

I have been in the EGWW if I could manage, and a bit in PR, too.

Haven't written any entries, though. May do that again at some point.

I've managed to keep up my one entry a month commitment, with an extra thrown in here and there for good measure. I've spent more time in PR, but now that my picks are due again, all the entries that I had ready have already gone.

I still haven't managed to get to the EGWW, not even for my own entry that's floundering there.

I have a Flea Market rescue on Radio 4 in PR and I've nearly finished an entry on Alexander the Great that I've been working on very occasionally for about 2 years now.

Writer's block...

After the month I've had, 2 weeks with no pc and no internet plus other ongoing personal issues I'm glad I said I would be an 'as and when' where writing was concerned. Having said that I have still managed to do the equivalent of 2 a month, I've been in PR doing commenting and still managed to do a bit for the photo group as well.
I have an article ongoing at present but as usual, it's turned out to be bigger than I thought it would and is still a work in progress. I think it'll be more scouting work this month rather than writing however.
I still have 3 articles remaining in the coming up page, one of which is with a sub-ed now. Last time I checked there were over 50 articles still waiting to go out to sub-eds so that page is still looking healthy. Sub-eds are likely to be kept busy me thinks.

Thanks all .... I was more interested in what people were doing outside of writing anyway.


It seem to be really hard for folks to own up to the other stuff they do.

Ha! You don't really expect me to tell what 'other' stuff I've been doing?
